About Us

The Project

Kalsoom Prairie View Cricket Complex is a community project started by a group of Cricket enthusiasts in Houston, TX. This is an 86 Acres project situated less than 5 miles away from Prairie View A&M University (which is part of the Texas A&M University system). Kalsoom Prairie View Cricket Association (KPVCA) plans to bring 50+ Cricket teams in one place. This project includes 12 Cricket Fields, Training Centers, Coaching Centers, Practice Facilities, and Community Center. We strongly believe that Cricket can play a major role in bringing communities together. KPVCA plans to bring this sport to masses by introducing and holding seminars in local schools, colleges, and universities. We plan to make this is a place where families, children, communities can come together and enjoy this beautiful game of Cricket.

Who is Involved?

KPVCA is working closely with Prairie View's Mayor, David Allen, to make this initiative one of the best cricket complexes in the nation. Mayor Allen explained his plans to collaborate with Prairie View A&M University's Architecture Director of Service Learning, Professor Barry H. Norwood, to include student input in the basic site planning phase. We appreciate Mayor’s involvement in this project.
